Misty is a life-long voracious reader, an aspiring writer, a mom to two teenage girls, a native Texan, a former English teacher, and an attorney. Sometimes she’s all these things at once, but generally some more than others. Misty lives in Dallas, Texas with a variety of dogs and cats, but the chickens have moved out.

Misty has always wanted to write fiction, and for a long time life got in the way. She’s changing that, trying to play in this best playground.
